Shipping policy
Saminton currently ships from the United States to the United States and the United Kingdom, where the destination is available at checkout. Available destinations, shipping methods, delivery estimates, and shipping charges are displayed at checkout when available. If a destination is not available at checkout, we do not promise shipment to that destination.
Processing time
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days after payment authorization, excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays. During product launches, promotions, severe weather, or unusually high order volume, processing may take longer. If a material delay occurs, we will contact you using the information provided with your order.
Delivery estimates begin after processing and are estimates rather than guarantees unless a specific delivery commitment is expressly stated at checkout. If no shipping time is stated for an order, we will use a reasonable fulfillment period. For U.S. internet orders, federal rules generally require a seller to have a reasonable basis for its advertised shipping time; if no time is stated, the FTC rule generally uses 30 days as the default benchmark, subject to the rule’s requirements and exceptions . For UK customers, delivery should normally occur within the period agreed at checkout or, if no period was agreed, within the period required by applicable consumer law. If we cannot meet the applicable delivery period, customers may have cancellation or other remedies under applicable law.
Shipping charges
Shipping charges are calculated and shown at checkout unless a free-shipping offer or another shipping promotion applies. For U.S. orders, applicable sales tax may be collected at checkout where required. For UK orders, VAT, customs duty, import fees, or other charges may depend on the product, order value, fulfillment location, and Shopify/tax configuration. We will show applicable amounts at checkout where we are required or able to do so. Unless checkout expressly states that charges are prepaid or included, the customer is responsible for import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, and other amounts charged by the carrier or customs authority. UK VAT treatment can differ for direct overseas sales, marketplace sales, goods located in the UK, Northern Ireland, and consignments above or below the applicable thresholds; Saminton must configure its actual VAT treatment with a qualified tax adviser .
Tracking
When tracking is available, we will send tracking information to the email address provided with the order. Tracking information may take time to update after the carrier receives the package.
Address accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Contact us immediately at contact@saminton.com if you entered an incorrect address. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfillment or shipment. Additional shipping charges may apply to an address correction or reshipment.
Lost, stolen, or delayed packages
Once a package has been accepted by the carrier, carrier delays, delivery scans, weather, customs, theft after delivery, and incorrect addresses may be outside Saminton’s direct control. Contact us at contact@saminton.com so we can review the tracking information and help identify available next steps. We may request that you contact the carrier or provide a delivery confirmation or claim reference.
International shipping
If international shipping is offered at checkout, delivery times may be affected by customs, local holidays, carrier operations, and import procedures. The recipient is responsible for complying with local import rules and paying any applicable duties, taxes, or fees unless otherwise stated. Some products may not be available for shipment to certain destinations.
Shipping delays or unavailable inventory
If we cannot ship within the time stated at checkout, or within the applicable required period, we will provide an update and, where required, offer the legally required options, which may include consenting to a delay or cancelling for a refund of unshipped merchandise.
